NDUGWA SCORES ON HIS DEBUT TO GIVE VICTORS A 1-0 WIN AGAINST PROLINE FC

Karim Ndugwa scored the all important goal on his debut to give Victors a match needed had fought win against a resistant Proline FC in a scrappy super league encounter infront of a relatively large crowd at Kakindu stadium on Tuesday.
The all important goal came in the 70th minute when he sneaked in to out-jumped Proline 's towering center half Ivan Bukenya to head home Sula Ssebunza's free kick but in a process Bukenya had to be stretched off with an injury on his cheek borne.
Victors though struggled to create chances through the rugged Proline's defence though Yudah Mugalu hit the low post with a low shot past ever faulty Lukwago Charles in Proline's goal.
Victor's new custodian Benjamin Ochan had a descent game despite Patrick Edema's effort that was ruled as an offside 2minutes from time. Bukenya though was sent off in the 80th minute after elbowing Yudah Mugalu .Proline's tactician Mujib Kasule said that the break took off his team's winning run as his opposite counter part George Nsimbe said that center referee failed to handle the game but was lucky to have Ndugwa in the squad.''Ndugwa will give my team another dimension going forward'', Nsimbe added as his new goal keeper Benjamin Ochan showed his steadiness in goal .
The win lifts Victors up from 8th to 4th position with their next game being at home against Utoda on March 1st.
