Former Victors FC player Moses Ndawula had headed home the opener in the 7th  minute following a cross from right back Yusuf Juuko. Moments later in the second half as the home side piled alot of pressure to search for an equaliser but even with center back Phillip Sempiira was sent off for a deliberate hand ball , Victors FC's captain of the day Hood Kaweesa's effort was saved by Robert Ssaka.

 

The custodian [Ssaka] again turned villain when he saved another penalty from substitute Edgar Luzige in the 78th minute as the away team Express FC matched on to collect maximum points off Victors FC for the first time in three years.
