Hassan Mubiru was the hero of the day when he rose to tap in the winning goal to send home team Victors FC a hard fought 1-0 win against a determined Proline FC in a quarter finals of the Bell Uganda cup match played at Kakindu stadium on Sunday.

Mubiru who only came on as a substitute late in second half for left back Robert Lugolobi , fired home with the inside of his left boot off Yudah Mugalu's low  cross  from the left in the 115th minute.

Both sides had drawn 0-0 in the normal 90 minutes infront of the low turn up of fans. After the game , Victors FC coach George Nsimbe was more thrilled with the final results despite the team's over struggle to achieve the goal of qualifying for the semi finals. ''I am happy with results though worried  of the fixture congestion'', Nsimbe added.

Victors next game will be in the super league tomorrow[Tuesday] at home against Maroons FC at Kakindu stadium.
