Hassan Mubiru was the hero of the day when he rose to tap in the winning goal to send home team Victors FC a hard fought 1-0 win against a�determined Proline FC in a quarter finals of the Bell Uganda cup match played at Kakindu stadium on Sunday.

Mubiru who only came on as a substitute late in second half for left back Robert Lugolobi , fired home with the inside of his left boot off Yudah Mugalu's low� cross� from the left in the 115th minute.

Both sides had drawn 0-0 in the normal 90 minutes infront of the low�turn up of fans. After the game , Victors FC coach George Nsimbe was more thrilled with the final results despite the team's over struggle to�achieve the goal of qualifying for the semi finals. ''I am happy with results though worried� of the fixture congestion'', Nsimbe added.

Victors next game will be in the super league tomorrow[Tuesday] at home against Maroons FC at Kakindu stadium.
